21 reasons to drink in L.A. is an ongoing project I started years ago. My idea is to photograph 21 of the best female bartenders in L.A., the ones who keep the customers coming back.

This is Rita. She was working at The Continental on Wilshire when I photographed her. We shot at her place in Hollywood where she lived in a little bungalow. We shot inside then went out into the courtyard to shoot and nobody seemed to care that we were photographing a half naked girl there! It also helps that everybody likes her. Dani No. 14 recommended Rita to me and she came by for a couple of bonus shots.
I am still looking for more bartenders, so for those of you who like this blog and have any bartender recommendations let me know in the comments section.
